From The Oregonian:
With a slim supply of homes on the market, those that are for sale are going fast.
We went through data from the Regional Multiple Listing Service to find the 15 metro-area ZIP codes where homes were selling fastest. The numbers reflect the year’s first quarter, from January to March.
The tight market has resulted in intense competition among buyers. That’s contributed to quick sales and rising prices.
Seven of the neighborhoods listed saw most homes sell in a month or less. None of them saw an average of more than six weeks on the market.
The clock starts when a home is listed, and it stops when the seller accepts an offer.
